DESCRIPTION:Join Grimsby Community Energy and recent grantee The North Wall Cleaner Frank Sparkes for a member’s beach clean this June. \nWe would like up to 15 Members to join us on Saturday 1 June 2024 at 10am at the Cleethorpes Yacht Club Car Park (behind Humberston Fitties). \nWe will meet up with Frank and Vicky from Grimsby Community Energy and then make our way down to the beach. \nFollowing the beach clean we will meet for coffee/tea and cake at The Gingerbread House tea room\, Church Ln\, Humberston\, Grimsby DN36 4HZ. \n  \n \n  \n

SUMMARY:Launch of the Grimsby Community Energy Open Share Offer
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Wednesday 5 June 2024 at Projekt Renewable at 8.30am on Grimsby’s Alexandra Dock\, as we launch Grimsby Community Energy’s 5th share offer at our breakfast event.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur fifth share offer is our most recent share offer to date. We will aim to raise £315k through our latest share offer\, which has achieved the prestigious Community Shares Standard Mark. We are raising funds for installations at three locations\, these being St Andrew’s Hospice main building at Peaks Lane\, 2 additional buildings at CATCH’s industrial training site in Stallingborough\, and the E-Factor’s new Business Hive location at St James House\, in Grimsby Town Centre.  We aim to install 308kW of solar PV bringing us a total of 842kWp. This is a big step onward to our vision of 1 megawatt of community owned solar PV locally.We will be hosting our breakfast event on on Wednesday 5 June 2024\, 8.30am until 10am at Projekt Renewable\, an immersive educational and cultural destination\, celebrating the opportunities presented by sustainable energy production in the area. This event will be ideal for individuals and businesses who may be interested in learning more about green energy\, renewables and community energy as well as those interested in investing or who may want to come along and hear more about what our project entails.Food and refreshments will be provided.
