Launch of the Grimsby Community Energy Open Share Offer

Our fifth share offer is our most recent share offer to date. We will aim to raise £315k through our latest share offer, which has achieved the prestigious Community Shares Standard Mark. We are raising funds for installations at three locations, these being St Andrew’s Hospice main building at Peaks Lane, 2 additional buildings at CATCH’s industrial training site in Stallingborough, and the E-Factor’s new Business Hive location at St James House, in Grimsby Town Centre.  We aim to install 308kW of solar PV bringing us a total of 842kWp. This is a big step onward to our vision of 1 megawatt of community owned solar PV locally.

We will be hosting our breakfast event on on Wednesday 5 June 2024, 8.30am until 10am at Projekt Renewable, an immersive educational and cultural destination, celebrating the opportunities presented by sustainable energy production in the area. This event will be ideal for individuals and businesses who may be interested in learning more about green energy, renewables and community energy as well as those interested in investing or who may want to come along and hear more about what our project entails.
