Rock Foundation Shop
18 solar panels adorn the front and rear roofs of the Rock Foundation shop on Freeman St, Grimsby.
These provide 4.68 kW at peak generation, in full sunlight providing for most of the electricity used within the shop. The funding for this site was raised from members in our 2016 community share offer, which was administered for us by Sharenergy.
The Rock Foundation supports children and adults with learning disabilities, and this is one of their fundraising charity shops. Our solar panels reduce the operating costs for this charity, leaving more available for their important activities.
