One of our members Martin asked managing director Vicky Dunn about who else is involved about running the society. Martin has been a member since 2016 and has seen Grimsby Community Energy develop since its inception. So we have produced this diagram to explain the organisational structure as it currently stands.

Grimsby Community Energy is governed by a Board of Directors, they oversee the Society in line with our rules, and advise on what they think best from their various experience and skills.

Manging director Vicky Dunn, looks after the contracts and funding, passes info up to the board and jobs to do to everyone else and makes sure they have the tools to do them.

Steve Rusling the Communication and Development Officer designs and creates a wide range of communication resources. He is big on business networking and in 2024 will be developing new projects.

Student interns such as our current students Sophie and Leoni help with everything in the office and events and even go well out of comfort zones [see photo of Leoni on the roof]. We also really appreciate volunteers who help with events, leafleting, and talking to the public.

As you may be aware we consult our Members all year round so they are fully clued up before they formally vote at the AGM.
