Would you like to become a Director of Grimsby Community Energy?
Our Directors are volunteers who help guide the progress and governance of our society in line with our Society Rules [Click here for the society rules]. The role involves attending six hybrid board meetings each year, along with occasional contact between meetings via phone, email, and WhatsApp. Training and support will be provided.
We currently have two vacancies on our Board. Roy Horobin has stepped down after six years of dedicated service, during which he made a significant contribution, particularly in strengthening our links with local education. Stacey Hackford has moved on to join the founding board of our new Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), which is being established to deliver charitable projects that align with our ethos but sit outside Grimsby Community Energy’s non-profit business model.
If you would like to stand for election as a Director, please send us: (info@grimsbycommunityenergy.coop)
